Eligibility Criteria for
Medical Branch (Specialists):
- Qualification:
Applicants must have completed MBBS with a minimum of 2nd Division or
its equivalent from a Pakistani or Foreign Medical College/University
recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM & DC).
- Specialization:
Candidates should have specialized in the disciplines mentioned in the

- Rank and
Training: Successful candidates will be commissioned with the rank of
Squadron Leader in this branch and will undergo a 24-week training
program.
For Medical Branch
(GDMO’s) (SPSSC):
Eligibility
Criteria: Male candidates are required for this branch with an MBBS
Degree from a university recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental
Council (PMDC) or any Pakistan/international university. Additionally,
candidates must have completed a minimum of one-year house job.
Rank and
Training: Successful candidates in this branch will be commissioned with the
rank of Flight Lieutenant and will undergo a 24-week training program.
How to Join PAF as Doctor:
- Online
Registration: Interested applicants must register online through the PAF
Website at www.joinpaf.gov.pk or
using the provided link below.
- Registration
Period: The registration process will take place from July 24
to July 30, 2023.
- Test
Series: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a Test Series, which includes an
Intelligence Test followed by an Academic Test covering various subjects
I&SC.
- Initial Medical
Examination and Interview: After the above-mentioned
tests, candidates will undergo an Initial Medical Examination and an
Interview at I&S Centre.
- Psychological
Test: Shortlisted applicants will then participate in a
Psychological Test, followed by an Interview with the First AHQ Special
Selection Board.
- Second Medical
Examination and Interview: Selected candidates will go
through a First Medical Examination at CMB, Lahore, and then an interview
conducted by the Second AHQ Specialist Selection Board.
- Final
Selection: The final selection will be made by AHQ Board.
